The formula for calculating the required cooling capacity:

Q = Q1+Q2Q = Total heat load (watts)Q1 = Heat load due to the exposed area of the panel (watts)
Q2 = Internal heat load due to electrical/electronic devices (watts)
Q1 = Area (sqm) x 5.5 x ΔT (0C)
Area – the Exposed surface area of the enclosure in square meter
5.5 – Heat transfer coefficient for the metal surface temperature difference between Max. ambient and Max. allowable panel temperature
